It was my 1st time there yesterday and it was not a good experience. I am a server at a restaurant myself so I understand when we get busy it's hard to tend to multiple tables at times but it was not busy .I'm guessing it was the manager that sat us, she got my brother an iced tea with no ice. our server came over within a few minutes took my drink order and returned about 8 minutes later. We ordered avocado fries and a bowl of soup for starters and 2 orders of fish tacos for dinner. Our cold soup and fish tacos came out at the same time we and we're told that our fries were on their way. The server visited our table once during our meal towards the end. She asked if we needed anything and I told her to please take the soup off and to cancel the avocado fries because they still have not arrived. The manager came over to speak to us and was nice and apologetic. She offered us a 50% discount. But by that she took off the item I did not receive and did not eat due to temp and a $5 discount. I appreciated the effort towards the end but these girls really need help

Our server was fun and helpful. We were very close to deadline for Happy Hour but she managed to get our order in on time. Menu is huge and offers main entrees as well as combos and side dishes fajitas and fish. I had draft Modelo beer. Chips were freshly made with spicy salsa. We sat in bar where we could watch sports on TVs

My food was cold when it arrived, the restaurant needs renovation. Overall not a nice place. UPDATE:.. I rec'd compensation from higher ups in the restaurant chain and I was pleasantly pleased with my visit to my local On the Border in Alpharetta, GA. Now that's how you TAKE care of your customers!!!!!

There is a happier vibe Walking into On the Border, vs other bars/ restaurants in the area. Great service. Fast and good testing entrees. I come here with friends and family

Good food, great margaritas, convenient location. The service was okay, but does not compare to the servers they had in El Cajon. The staff there kept us coming back week after week. Still sad they closed down the El Cajon location.
